Due to PCT Commissioning decisions taken in 2011, which re-allocated monies from the independent counsellors in GMS surgeries in the borough of Barnet to the Barnet IAPT service, the Barnet Counselling Association has been closed.

Many PMS surgeries currently still have independent counsellors.

You must consult your GP to clarify whether they are a PMS or GMS surgery.
